Sensory Writeable is an offline installed software application for Windows and Mac. It is an academic writing tool and writing companion based on a closed query large language model (LLM). Writeable makes suggestions in UK English when appropriate. If you need an assistant to critique your writing, provide a commentary and some suggestions, Sensory Writeable could be a helpful and secure tool.

Sensory Writeable is an installed software application, not a cloud service, and therefore is secure and is not a generative AI tool. Sensory Writeable requires a Windows PC with at least 16GB RAM, ideally with an on board graphics chip such as NVDIA.

Specification
System Requirements – Sensory Writeable for Windows requires Windows 11 22/H2 operating system or later, which itself requires a typical PC specification as below.

  • Processor: 64-bit processor with at least 1 GHz and two or more cores
  • RAM: At least 16 GB
  • Storage: At least 64 GB of available disk space

Sensory Writeable for Mac requires M1-M4 chip ideally with 16GB RAM.

Sensory Writeable for Windows license is available and included with the Sensory Readable for Windows education single user license. See Sensory Readable license options. It is currently not available for purchase on a standalone basis, but we are happy to provide evaluator versions upon request.
