Text To Speech
Select any accessible text and Readable will speak it. Click and Play in Microsoft Word, Edge, Outlook and more. New “Point and Speak” cursor tracking – move your mouse cursor across the screen, Readable detects the text underneath the mouse cursor instantly. You can choose to speak the word or line only, the whole paragraph or everything from that cursor point onwards.
Proof Reading
Readable supports you whilst writing and proof reading (checking) in Microsoft Word (and other text apps such as Word for web, Wordpad, Notepad). It provides additional accessibility support for this leading writing and composition tool such as dictionaries, references, spellchecking or speech dictation. Readable includes a homophone identifier, allowing you to identify and check tricky words.
