Natural Voices from the cloud

Readable Version 2 is released and integrates the incredible Microsoft Natural neural voices. Five English Microsoft Natural installed voices are included in Sensory Readable V2 along with the existing voices such as Serena, Daniel and Scottish Fiona.

As an experimental feature, Readable Version 2 can also have the Microsoft Natural voices in the cloud activated, which provide many more accents and languages, but do require a decent internet connection. Microsoft offers over 400 neural voices covering more than 140 languages and locales. This broad support helps in creating inclusive and accessible applications for a global audience. Here is the extensive list of Cloud Natural Voices displayed in Readable, once activated.

This video (below) shows how to activate the Microsoft Natural online voices in Readable, which will all be listed below the PC installed voices inside your Readable voice settings. The online voices for your PC country setting will be shown towards the top of your voice. list, following any installed voices present on your PC.

We will always provide the fully offline version of Readable (with no ability to connect to online voices or other web services), for organisations who require high levels of network security.
